Atelierul de fantezie

The Fantasy Workshop aimed to stimulate the multi-sensory perception through building games. We worked with a class of fourth grade chidren from the Visually Impaired Secondary School. Together, we built a 3d model of a city out of Lego bricks. They each had to create their own neighbourhood, to decide what functions they need and how they work together as a whole. Our purpose was to improve their orientation skills by helping them understand the scale notion and how to change perspectives, from a small scale to real size space.

SenseAbility Socolescu

The SenseAbility Project aimed to develop a channel of communication between visually impaired and sighted people. We achieved this purpose by offering a multi-sensory perception experience through the built environment. We chose a series of famous houses and proposed an innovative tour. We provided blindfolds and white canes for all the visitors. Sighted people had to discover the inside of the house by covering their eyes and using all of the other senses.
